1. Okechikwu Tony Nwoye

Tony Nwoye, elected as Senator for Anambra North, took office in June 2023, replacing Stella Oduah. His political journey started in the Nigerian House of Representatives, serving the Anambra East/West constituency.
He has aligned with various parties, such as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the All Progressives Congress (APC), and now the Labour Party (LP).
Born on September 13, 1974, in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria, Nwoye completed his secondary education at Metropolitan Secondary School in Onitsha.
He earned a medical degree from the University of Nigeria College of Medicine and later studied at Ebonyi State University, where he qualified as a medical doctor.
Nwoye’s political involvement began during his medical studies, where he engaged in student union activities and took on leadership roles.
He made history as the first medical student to become the speaker of the student union House of Representatives at the University of Nigeria.

2. Chukwunonyelu Victor Umeh

Senator (Dr.) Victor C. Umeh, OFR, serves Anambra Central Senatorial District in Nigeria’s 10th Senate. Born on July 19, 1962, in Aguluzigbo, Anambra State, Umeh graduated with a BSc in Economics from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
A respected Economist and Public Servant, he has excelled in both public and private sectors. His political career began in 1998 with the Peoples Democratic Party before co-founding the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in 2002.
As APGA’s National Chairman, he guided the party to notable electoral successes in Anambra and other regions.
Umeh has been honored for his contributions to governance and democracy, receiving the Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) and the Papal Knighthood of St. Sylvester, KSS.
He is a strong advocate for justice and equality, particularly for Anambra’s and Nigeria’s citizens.

3. Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah

He became Senator on February 24, 2019, succeeding Andy Uba. Ubah is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In business, he founded Capital Oil (CCO) in 2001, known for its widespread network of facilities and outlets, mainly in Nigeria’s Southeast and Southwest regions.
Raised in Otolo, Nnewi, Anambra State, Ubah faced financial hardships, causing him to leave school early at a young age.
